Job Summary

THRYVE is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead key projects in data analytics and management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing a cutting-edge platform for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack and multi-cluster OpenShift environments to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Virtual Networks: Manage and optimize OpenShift resources and virtual network infrastructure to minimize latency and maximize performance.
  • Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools to streamline deployment and reduce errors.
  • Storage Solutions: Plan and implement Red Hat Ceph and Data Foundation storage solutions to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee testing activities, including unit testing within a behavior-driven development (BDD) setup, to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Degree in computer science or equivalent training with experience in a similar DevOps role.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of OpenStack, OpenShift, and related automation technologies (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Linux and GitLab: Experience in automating Linux administration tasks and working with distributed version control systems like GitLab.
  • Security Compliance: Familiarity with securing IT infrastructures to ISO 27001 or BSI standards, as well as working with external cloud providers.
