We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Safety Leadership Expert to join our team in EMEAI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process safety, with experience in leading and coordinating process safety programs across multiple facilities.

Job Description

The Process Safety Leadership Expert will be responsible for coordinating implementation and management of the process safety program for Ag Services & Oilseeds and Carbohydrate Solutions in EMEAI. This includes providing local expertise and support during TPS incidents, leading or participating in Root Cause Investigations (RCIs), and reviewing and assessing TPS incidents to ensure proper classification and follow-up.

The successful candidate will also lead or participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) for facilities in the EMEAI region, provide guidance and interpretation of corporate process safety standards and requirements, and monitor progress in closing action items related to TPS.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate implementation and management of the process safety program for Ag Services & Oilseeds and Carbohydrate Solutions in EMEAI.
  • Provide local expertise and support during TPS incidents, including on-site Emergency Response support as needed and coordination of communications with the EHS and TPS COEs.
  • Lead or participate in Root Cause Investigations (RCIs) in the region, depending on the severity of the event and/or complexity of the investigation.
  • Identify and escalate to the PSTLs those action items which could or should be leveraged to other facilities outside the region with similar hazards.
  • Review and assess TPS incidents in the region to ensure proper classification and follow-up.
  • Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) for facilities in the EMEAI region.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of corporate process safety standards and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of local jurisdictional process safety requirements.
  • Monitor progress in closing action items related to TPS.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • In-depth experience working in Operations, a Technology Center, Engineering or EHS.
  • Working knowledge of process safety tools and methodologies such as HAZOP, LOPA, etc.
  • Experience as a facility Process Safety Engineer, Technology Engineer or Process Engineer.
  • Strong interpersonal, team-building skills & leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to defend difficult decisions with data, analysis, facts and RAGAGEP Standards.

Benefits and Rewards

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave allowance.
