Project OverviewAs a member of our trapped ion quantum computing team, you will be responsible for researching and comparing different relevant SPAD parameters and methods to measure them. This will involve designing and building a characterization setup to find the best SPAD arrays for our specific application.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build a characterization setup to find the best SPAD arrays for our specific application
- Gain practical experience working with lasers, optics, and electrical measurements
- Collaborate with industry and academic partners as part of a research team
- Gain understanding of ion traps, optical clocks, and quantum computing
- Contribute to improving measurements and pushing the limits on accuracy and stability
- Currently studying Physics, Photonics, Quantum Science, or a related field with a solid foundation in optics
- Experience working in an optics lab and knowledge of laser physics
