Audible is a leading provider of spoken word audio content, and we're looking for a skilled Coordinator, Catalog Operations to join our team.
Job Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our editorial and operational processes. As a Coordinator, Catalog Operations, you will be responsible for accurately entering, editing, and maintaining metadata, audio assets, and image art for all products.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Metadata Indexing and Copyediting: Enter, edit, proofread, and fact-check metadata records in our content management system prior to releasing a product to Audible marketplaces.
- Catalog Updates and Troubleshooting: Process and verify daily metadata update and correction requests received from providers, customers, and internal stakeholders via tickets or other sources.
- Process Improvement and Documentation: Envision, articulate, implement, and document streamlined processes to foster alignment across departmental teams.
- Product Relationships and Affiliations: Support customer discovery by creating, verifying, and updating product relationships such as Category Assignments, Series Affiliation, Title Authority, and Contributor Authority.
- Table of Contents (ToC): Proofread table of content data for Audible products.
Requirements
We're looking for a candidate who is comfortable working with systems, processes, and literature in a fast-paced environment. You should have a passion for technology and media, specifically spoken word audio, and be able to deliver accurate results.
