Senior Golang Developer for E-commerce Platform

About the Role:

As a Senior Golang Developer, you will be responsible for the development of fast, scalable, and reliable services for the BAUHAUS e-commerce platform. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with other teams to deliver value to our customers. Your focus will be on creating a convenient and easy shopping experience for our customers.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and operate cloud-native microservices in the production environment
  • Foresee, identify, and resolve production issues
  • Closely collaborate with other teams to deliver value to our end users
  • Contribute to inner source and drive quality and standards in the internal engineering community
  • Help grow our development team by conducting interviews and code pairing sessions

About You:

We are looking for a proactive personality with a strong focus on agile teamwork. You should have a strong background in Golang, experience in the development of scalable and reliable large-scale applications, and a confident handling of event-based communication between microservices. Additionally, you should have experience with SQL databases, cloud provider platforms, and the provisioning of distributed services on CloudRun or comparable serverless approaches.
