About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Mechatronics Technician to join our team at Mercedes-Benz. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the testing, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical systems on our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing and repair work on complex electrical systems, including high-voltage components.
  • Analyze and diagnose issues with driver assistance systems and high-voltage components using electronic and computer-aided measuring and diagnostic devices.
  • Repair and maintain systems on vehicles with electric or hybrid drives.
  • Retrofit special equipment and additional features, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Compare and assess measured values with target values.
  • Perform maintenance and minor repair work.
  • Organize work tasks to meet deadlines, ensure quality, and maintain correct order processing.
  • Tender or enter required extension orders into the system.
  • Determine the required scope of parts.
  • Use service information systems.
  • Conduct test drives as required.
  • Familiarize trainees with safety regulations and monitor their compliance.
  • Specify required findings on the repair order in the event of warranty or goodwill.
Requirements
  • Completed training as a vehicle mechatronics technician or comparable training.
  • Repair experience on Mercedes-Benz cars and vans is an advantage.
  • Experience in the field of high-voltage systems on motor vehicles is required.
  • Good knowledge of workshop-related IT systems is desirable.
  • High level of service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a team and enjoy dealing with people.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Affinity for new media.
  • At least a class B driver's license.
