Strategic Financial Partner for Mechanical Core

Your Role

You will join the EMEIA Division as a Financial Controller for the Mechanical Core Segment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring financial reporting and projects are managed professionally, harmoniously, and promptly.

In this role, you will work closely with the EMEIA CFO, leaders of the Mechanical Core Unit, Mechanical Core Program Management, Mechanical Core R&D, and Regional Finance teams. This position reports directly to the SVP & Head of Mechanical Core Business Segment EMEIA.

Based on your expertise, you will prepare the consolidated Mechanical Core Financial Report monthly/quarterly, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation, and explaining variances. You will also harmonize P&L reporting format, oversee R&D and Product Units budgets, build processes to consolidate Mechanical Core Segment revenues, provide technical advice on financial reporting, link between Business Areas, EMEIA, and Global HQ, involve in acquisition/divestment processes, and work on ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with:

  • a University degree level qualification and a qualified ACA or equivalent;
  • Significant all-round finance experience including budgeting, accounting, controlling, partnering, and reporting skills;
  • Understanding of IFRS and group accounting and an appreciation of how local financial reporting standards differ;
  • Experience in a Multinational Company would be an advantage as would experience of having worked in more than one European Country;
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint; Experience of Hyperion Financial Management would be advantageous;
  • The ability to work in another major European Language as well as English would be an advantage;
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence others across the Division to ensure that deadlines are met;
  • Internal or external audit experience, would be an advantage.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package: €90,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
