For our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, we are seeking dedicated professionals for the role of Stakeholder Engagement Advisor.

Your Responsibilities:
The Central Research & Technology (R&T) division is a global entity within Airbus, focusing on innovative research projects across various technological domains. This team comprises highly skilled scientists, experts, and project leaders from multiple Airbus locations, driving the future of aerospace through groundbreaking technologies for next-generation aircraft.

The position encompasses a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, including the development of advocacy strategies, stakeholder mapping, content creation, and ongoing performance assessment of stakeholder engagement initiatives.

The successful candidate will operate as a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor (f/m/d) within the Central R&T team, reporting directly to the head of Central R&T. Collaboration with the Corporate Communications department, particularly the Technology, Engineering, and Product Decarbonisation Communication team, will be essential. The role focuses on delivering impactful communication within the Central R&T department while ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and branding guidelines.

Main Deliverables:

  • Development of advocacy strategies targeting internal and external audiences, incorporating creative approaches, key messages, and timelines aligned with business objectives.
  • Creation of various content types, including technical articles, presentations, speeches, social media posts, and audiovisual materials.
  • Coordination of speaking engagement plans for Central R&T executives in collaboration with the Engineering and Technology Communication team.
  • Provision of timely communication guidance and solutions to Central R&T personnel.
  • Management of Airbus communication processes and guidelines to ensure understanding and compliance among internal teams.
  • Evaluation of advocacy activities to measure effectiveness and derive insights for future initiatives.
  • Planning and reporting on stakeholder engagement activities.

This role requires competencies in:

  • Designing and implementing effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Crafting clear messages tailored to specific audiences, including government entities, academic institutions, and research organizations.
  • Creating compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Advising internal stakeholders through active listening and clear communication.
  • Managing projects from inception to completion, leading cross-functional teams, and analyzing project outcomes.
  • Supporting strategic change initiatives through effective communication.

Personal Requirements:

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to act decisively.
  • Solution-oriented approach, capable of working independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, managing multiple projects concurrently.

Professional Training/Studies:

  • Technical degree at the master's or diploma level.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in developing and executing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Experience in academic research, engineering, or emerging technologies is advantageous.

IT Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in English is required, with strong writing skills.
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage.

Knowledge Areas:

  • Interest in innovative technologies related to electrification, materials, and communication technologies.
  • Understanding of the aerospace industry and Airbus operations is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with best practices in internal and external communications.
