Professor of Electrical Engineering with Expertise in Smart Electrical Drives

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Electrical Engineering with a focus on Smart Electrical Drives to join our faculty at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of electrical engineering, with a particular emphasis on smart electrical drives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and supervise students in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in electrical engineering, conducted in both German and English.
  • Conduct research in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on smart electrical drives, and publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain collaborations with industry partners in Germany and abroad.
  • Contribute to the development of the university's research profile and participate in interdisciplinary research projects.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the field of electrical drives, including at least three years outside the university sector.
  • Excellent teaching and research skills, with a strong publication record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
