Product Operations Manager
vor 4 Wochen
We're Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining technology and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms. Our mission is to unlock productivity by placing data and intelligence at the core of business processes. To achieve this, we need a skilled Product Operations Manager to join our team.
The Team:
Product Operations is a team in our Product & Engineering organization, reporting into our Product Chief Operating Officer. Our main objective is to help our product management function scale well by establishing consistent cross-functional practices and frameworks. We execute programs & projects to enable product managers to manage their tasks with low friction and facilitate business, customer, and market data & insights.
The Role:
As a Product Operations Manager, you will be responsible for landing product analytics in the product organization and making a difference in how every product team utilizes quantitative insights in their day-to-day operations. You will be a key contributor to building an analytic rigor within the product organization, impacting all Celonis.
What's unique about the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading process mining technology and drive business value through data-driven decision-making. You will have the chance to work with our own product, becoming an expert user of the Celonis platform, and collaborate with experienced analytics teams in the engineering organization.
The work you'll do:
- Get product teams started with analytics and enable them to build out their analytics
- Implement improvements for some of the analytics assets
- Work with all the PMs to ensure the right analytics signals are gathered
- Be on top of new features / feature flags and make sure that they are reflected in our adoption measurement
- Maintain the product hierarchy
- Put a process in place to embed analytics requirements gathering in the product development lifecycle
- Establish an effective feedback loop between the product organization and the analytics team for requirements gathering
The qualifications you need:
- 2+ years of experience in working in a global team (virtual and multi-location)
- 1+ years of domain experience in working within or with product management
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of experience in running complex projects with multiple stakeholders, aggressive schedules, and scarce resources (preferably in a software company)
- Operational rigor and track record of cross-functional stakeholder project management and execution
- Domain experience in analytics work, ideally has worked with the Celonis software or a comparable software hands-on before
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including fluent English)
Soft skills we're looking for:
As a Product Operations Manager, you will impact the way how the Product Management operates internally as well as with external stakeholders. To make this happen, we need change makers in our team. Succeeding in this role requires some key competencies:
- Ownership: You are a changemaker and have a very high level of ownership. If you don't fix a problem, no one will. You are a strong driver of your projects, very proactive, and make things happen.
- People: You have a very high level of empathy. You convince others along the way. You get along well with people, lead without authority, and engage a cross-functional group of people to work towards a joint goal.
- Product mindset: You are the product manager for product managers and have a strong product mindset. You discover and prioritize new initiatives based on our customers' needs and come up with scalable solutions. At the same time, you don't create processes for the sake of process, but for the sake of creating value for your internal customers. You break down bigger problems into feasible solutions and milestones. You think strategically and act long-term (= what are the next big things we need to improve in the org) while being pragmatic, hands-on, and delivering quick wins on the way.
- Project management: Excellent project management skills are the baseline. Most of the processes we implement are cross-departmental (e.g. the product launch management process runs across 40 departments). You cut through complexity and structure a complex project into its major building blocks. You create the best project setup and governance to achieve success.
- Domain knowledge: You have a proven track record in Product Operations and have successfully established some of the most fundamental processes (e.g. processes for roadmapping, product discovery, early customer adoption, customer co-innovation etc.).
What Celonis can offer you:
- The unique opportunity to work with industry-leading process mining technology
- Investment in your personal growth and skill development (clear career paths, internal mobility opportunities, L&D platform, mentorships, and more)
- Great compensation and benefits packages (equity (restricted stock units), life insurance, time off, generous leave for new parents from day one, and more)
- Physical and mental well-being support (subsidized gym membership, access to counseling, virtual events on well-being topics, and more)
- A global and growing team of Celonauts from diverse backgrounds to learn from and work with
- An open-minded culture with innovative, autonomous teams
- Business Resource Groups to help you feel connected, valued and seen (, , , , , and more)
- A clear set of that guide everything we do: Live for Customer Value, The Best Team Wins, We Own It, and Earth Is Our Future
