Media Relations and Digital Communications Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Corporate Media Relations to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our Communications and Public Policy Division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective media relations and digital communications strategies to promote the company's reputation and brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Media Relations team, including managing the press office and coordinating media relations activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors, and influencers, to secure media coverage and promote the company's brand.
  • Design and implement media relations and digital communications strategies to achieve business objectives and promote the company's reputation.
  • Provide media training and coaching to senior executives and other stakeholders to ensure they are prepared to handle media inquiries and interviews.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive media database and tracking system to monitor media coverage and identify opportunities for media relations and digital communications.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and communications.
  • Develop and implement crisis communications plans to mitigate potential reputational risks and ensure timely and effective response to media inquiries and crises.
  • Manage and coordinate media events, including press conferences, product launches, and other events, to promote the company's brand and reputation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and customers, to ensure effective communication and engagement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in media relations, communications, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective media relations and digital communications strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and stories that resonate with media and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to business challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, and to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
