Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Global Network Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Global Infrastructure and Networking team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network and security technologies to ensure the functional operations and security of our global network.

This role requires experience in network engineering and operations of large-scale enterprise networks, including LAN, SDWAN, WLAN, WAN, Cloud, and Datacenter, as well as experience in developing and operating security systems and applications to defend the network infrastructure against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Service Delivery: Provides Global Network Service Delivery support, working with internal service teams and external service providers' resources to provide effective IT services.
• Project Support: Supports network installation and/or upgrade project, assigns milestone tasks to support personnel and meets company deadlines for full implementation, including network and installation of all software and end-user security.
• Network Design: Supports the design of data, voice, and video network infrastructure, including operational, business, SDWAN, LAN, WAN, internet, and Security services.
• Secure Solutions: Supports design, implement, and support secure solutions for on-prem and cloud network infrastructures, defining and developing automations to enable large-scale deployments and operations.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Supports and optimizes LAN and WAN infrastructure services, including SDWAN controllers, routers, switches, virtual and cloud networking components, wireless access points and controllers, voice and video telecommunications systems, security devices, and other associated devices.
• Major Incident Management: Experience in major incident management and security incident response.
• Cloud Networking: Supports with cloud networking (Azure), Network Security, SDWAN, LAN Segmentation, Zero Trust, and Secure service edge services.
• IT Business Partnership: Partners with our IT Business Relationship Management team to deliver value to the business through our IT operating model, common standards and processes.
• Firewall Design: Support with firewall design and network security, including Device Hardening, intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, Firewalls, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works collaboratively across Infrastructure Services, Business Relationship Managers, and Engineering teams supporting, and implementing Cloud-native and over the top networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Incident Management: Oversees incident management at a regional and site level to provide status communication to IT and business leadership, conduct root cause analysis, and develop follow-up actions.
• Innovation Management: Manages and delivers new innovative capabilities to align IT to meet business needs.
• Network Performance Management: Manages and monitors network performance and asset inventory, utilizing network management tools and following industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in networking, 5 years of experience in network security in organizations with complex networks, 5 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting networks and security systems.
• Technical Skills: Experience in routing, switching, and network security technologies and protocols. Strong understanding of all IT disciplines and interdependencies.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with intercultural teams. Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
• Industry Certifications: Extensive experience in the field of IT service organizations (ITIL) and project delivery frameworks. Knowledge and experience with IT controls and governance.
