About the RoleThis is a full-time, hybrid position that allows for a balance between working from home and in one of our offices in Hamburg or London. The role will involve some European travel.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Bauer Media's group-wide corporate communications strategy, working closely with the Head of Corporate Communications Strategy & Planning and other key stakeholders
- Oversee and coordinate the group-wide communications calendar and air traffic control in line with the strategy, thus ensuring harmonised and effective communications
- Identify and flag risks in the implementation of the communications strategy and planning
- Establish communications milestones and KPIs and develop and implement monitoring plans to evaluate and analyse communication effectiveness
- Identify and implement communications trends, evaluate best practices and promote knowledge transfer across the entire communications team
- Analyse data and implement processes to support data-driven decision-making across the entire communications team
- End-to-end project management
- 6-8 years of experience in developing and implementing corporate communications strategies as well as leading and delivering communications campaigns
- Able to think laterally about the impact of communications
- Highly organised with a logical approach, great at prioritising and managing productivity
- Confident communicator: able to persuade, negotiate, influence and network
- Experience of transformation programmes in the media sector is desirable
- Office365 skills (especially MS Teams and SharePoint)
- Fluent spoken and excellent written English, further languages like German or Polish are desirable
