About Us: Egosoft, a renowned developer of immersive X space simulation game series, seeks an accomplished UI / UX Designer to collaborate with our artists and programming team in shaping the visual identity of our games. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of design principles.

Your Role: As a UI / UX Designer at Egosoft, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the user experience of our games, utilizing your expertise in visual quality and design basics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver key information to players, leveraging our self-developed engine.

Responsibilities: This is a full-time position based in Würselen, Germany. We offer relocation assistance. Your primary responsibilities include designing intuitive user interfaces, collaborating with stakeholders to identify design challenges, and developing innovative solutions using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Proficiency in Figma and equivalent tools is highly valued.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in UI / UX design in the video games industry. Strong understanding of user interface design concepts, such as layout, text, and widgets, is essential. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate effectively with different disciplines to discuss features from a design perspective.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with simulation games and knowledge of the X series games or similar sci-fi simulation games are considered advantageous. Experience working with artists, game designers, and programmers to understand player behavior and patterns is also beneficial.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
