Procurement Role Overview
I. K. Hofmann is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team in the electrical energy transmission sector. As a trusted partner, we collaborate with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing of sample parts for gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Handling and sourcing materials such as copper, plastics, aluminum, silicone, and casting resin, in line with industry standards.
- Tracking and managing delivery schedules of placed orders, maintaining open communication with suppliers.
- Providing expert advice to project teams on supplier selection and manufacturing technology, driving business growth.
- Accurately documenting and recording all relevant data, ensuring compliance and transparency.
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in a technical or commercial field, with a strong foundation in procurement principles.
- Previous experience as a procurement specialist with similar materials, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
- Excellent German language skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis.
- A detail-oriented work approach, with strong teamwork skills and a customer-centric mindset.
