We are seeking a highly skilled FuSa Engineer to join our team at Clarios Germany. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for executing the technical aspects of FuSa analysis, requirements, design, and verification & validation (V&V) for our automotive products.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute safety analyses, including Quantified Fault-Tree, FMEA, Common-mode analysis, and reliability analysis.
- Define system requirements and specifications, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262.
- Develop and implement safety design best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Support verification (Peer) reviews of design, analysis, and V&V, preparing technical reports.
- Collaborate with Electronics/SW Safety Team to review Functional and Technical Safety requirements.
- Perform ASIL decomposition and common cause analysis, ensuring safety requirements are consistent with ISO 26262 Part 5.
- Develop safety concepts and support design teams in implementing safety measures according to ISO 26262.
- Perform qualitative analysis (FMEA, FTA) and quantitative analysis (FMEDA), ensuring system verification and confirmation reviews.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop successful products, following program timing and deliver results according to plan.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Solid years of professional experience in electronics FuSa.
- Experience with automotive product development and qualification.
- Detailed training in ISO 26262 Functional Safety Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in deriving Functional Safety work products as per ISO 26262.
- Experience or training in safety analysis (HARA, FMEA, Fault-Tree, Common mode analysis).
- Experience in ASPICE and tools like JAMA, JIRA, GitHub, Cameo System Modeler, Medini Analyse/Reliability Workbench.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
