Security Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security (Senior) Specialist to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Infrastructure Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and stability of our Network and AD / Azure infrastructure and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our core team of technical experts to ensure ongoing security and stability of SAP's Network and AD / Azure infrastructure and related services.
- Collaborate with our Managed Service Providers and Vendors to ensure services meet security requirements.
- Deliver architecture recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Investigate new technologies and design solutions and services.
- Coordinate deployment and rollout of new services.
- Contribute towards the implementation and optimization of authentication systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Security Topics (O365, Network, Authentication).
- Strong background in Security and Authentication technologies. FIDO2 knowledge is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Network technologies.
- Strong track record as project and/or service lead in the Enterprise IT environment.
- Solid experience in client infrastructure topics, cloud services and architecture, ideally with focus on Microsoft 365 services.
- Maintaining a high level of service to customers and following service management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – communicating with others, problem solving and decision making.
- Experience in driving high-visibility topics in large enterprise including stakeholder management, board and senior management engagement.
- Project management skills and technical expertise on authentication, security, and network technologies.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced and multi-cultural organization.
- Fluent English and German language skills oral and written.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Flexible attitude towards working hours to work as part of the global team. Occasional shifted hours to accommodate time zone issues is to be expected.
- Ability to communicate directly with end users and customers at various levels of technical abilities with professionalism.
