Senior Operations Improvement Consultant

As a Senior Process Improvement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to enhance organizational processes. You will coordinate with and mentor fellow specialists to continuously refine existing and future processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive process improvement initiatives and securing approval from relevant stakeholders;
- Establishing KPIs to assess the effectiveness of process improvement capabilities;
- Collaborating closely with process owners to perform maturity and adoption audits according to established frameworks to identify current process gaps;
- Gathering change requests related to process design from department heads and implementing those changes in conjunction with the process design team;
- Finalizing project documentation and reports;
- Facilitating process improvement workshops with stakeholders, sharing insights gained from the analysis of existing processes;
- Overseeing process flows and documentation while supporting the development and maintenance of logs for process modifications;
- Advocating for process adoption initiatives and monitoring key KPIs to reflect progress;
- Ensuring processes are optimized, effective, and aligned with customer requirements while supporting organizational development and growth;
- Encouraging a culture of continuous process improvement and sharing these values with junior associates through mentorship;
- Acting as a liaison for escalations between internal and external partners.
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Administration, Operations, or Management, preferably within a telecommunications operator or an ICT/Product company;
- 6+ years in continuous process improvement and implementation, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies for ongoing enhancement, ideally within a telecommunications operator or an ICT/Product company;
- Familiarity with various domains within a telecommunications operator (procurement, finance, product management, service desk, engineering, etc.) and an understanding of their interdependencies is highly desirable;
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent training;
- Demonstrated experience in operations management related to process design, development, and auditing (including maturity assessments, adoption assessments, gap identification, etc.);
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality outcomes;
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion;
- Consistently operates with the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and fidelity, acting in the best interest of the organization;
- Proven capability for up-skilling and re-skilling, with a curious mindset and a desire for continuous learning and growth;
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience guiding team members to achieve objectives;
- Technical writing proficiency;
- Experience with tools such as Excel and Visio for producing workflows;
- Ability to function as a team player, exhibiting a flexible and positive attitude;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
- Ability to perform under pressure;
- A self-starter who can work independently yet is comfortable and effective in a team environment.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum 4 years) in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or an equivalent field/experience;
- Any certification or diploma in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an added advantage;
- Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt certification or equivalent training;
- Certification in TM Forum Business Process Frameworx (eTOM) would be an added advantage;
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English/German.
