About the Role

Vestas is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our Multibrand Technical Support team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality technical support to Service organizations, reducing turbine downtime and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Handle stopped turbines on a daily basis, working in a shift plan (weekends)
  • Advanced remote troubleshooting and technical planning, including identifying correct paperwork/documentation, components, and tooling
  • Support technicians in troubleshooting, participating in stopped turbine calls and on-site support
  • Evaluate technical customer questions and reports, providing answers and presenting technical matters at customer meetings
  • Create, update, and maintain guides (VGAs) for Service Technicians
  • Provide timely responses and support the Service and Construction organizations
  • Handle requests in ticketing systems and ensure technical knowledge is shared within the team

Requirements

  • Electrical or mechanical education combined with experience from the wind industry
  • Several years of experience in troubleshooting or other technical experience with Multibrand turbines
  • Advanced PC skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office suite
  • Good knowledge of WTG control systems and strong communication skills in English, with German knowledge an advantage
