About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Expert/Architect to join our SAP Globalization Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based solutions for SAP SuccessFactors Payroll and its localized solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop microservice-based architecture for cloud solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and software architecture
  • Ensure architectural integrity of solutions and lead research and Proof of Concept activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product architecture and ensure alignment of architecture concepts and documentation
  • Write clean and maintainable code using best engineering practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 10+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architect role in engineering and software architecture design, building, and distributing software tools and solutions in an agile environment
  • Strong programming and analytical skills, experience in HCM SuccessFactors and Payroll/TimeManagement solution
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and other software technologies including Rest/JSON, SOAP/XML, Oracle, Postgres, Single Sign-On (SSO), HTML5, Performance Tuning/Profiling, Testing frameworks
  • Experience in development of complex software solutions based on ABAP/JAVA technology
  • Fluency in English and German
