Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer for Test Systems at Advantest Europe GmbH, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of automated test systems for the semiconductor industry. Our team is responsible for creating innovative solutions that enable our customers to shape the future of technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for test systems, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and support testing activities as part of agile development teams.
  • Improve testing methods and contribute to the continuous improvement process.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in software testing, with a focus on semiconductor business.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming language and scripting skills, such as Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively in an international cross-functional team.
  • Good knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken.
