About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MLOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at understandAI GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enabling machine learning engineers to build, operate, and ship models efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MLOps tools, cloud computing, and Kubernetes. You will work closely with our DevOps experts to design and implement scalable and reliable AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain next-generation ML infrastructure for model development, data management, model operation, and cost transparency.
  • Develop and provide developer-friendly tools to enable ML engineers.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to drive the implementation of MLOps solutions.
  • Promote MLOps mindset within the team and identify automation opportunities to gain efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
  • Experience with MLOps tools and cloud providers, such as Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization.
  • At least basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
  • Solid experience in a high-level programming language, such as Python or Java.
  • Large-scale system design exposure and in-depth understanding of UNIX/Linux, network technology, and security practices.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and motivate team members.
