About Role:

We are seeking a seasoned project delivery manager to lead our team in Frankfurt, Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing end-to-end software development life cycles within the financial industry, with proven expertise in banking and financial market infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end software development life cycle for various projects.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the financial sector, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement a delivery framework, especially within the payments domain, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Draft and present project deliverables to diverse audiences, including senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring any issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10-15 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within the financial industry.
  • Proven expertise and deep knowledge of banking financial markets infrastructure (e.g., payment systems, securities systems, settlement systems) and/or collateral management systems.
  • A recognized qualification in project management related to service delivery is a plus.
  • Experience in drafting and managing a delivery framework within the payments area will be highly valued.
  • Ability to manage and present complex projects to various audiences, including senior stakeholders, with a strong ability to defend chosen options.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of initiative, willingness to learn, and results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also possessing excellent team collaboration skills.
