We are epay, a Euronet Worldwide Company, and we're looking for a skilled C++ Developer to join our team. As an independent full-service payment provider, we offer a single-interface platform that enables maximum flexibility in the ever-changing payment journey. Our distribution network is one of the fastest-growing networks with hundreds of innovative partners in multiple countries. This way, we connect retailers, brands, and consumers with scalable solutions for gift cards, prepaid, payment, issuing, acquiring, and incentives across all channels and boundaries.

As a C++ Developer, you will be responsible for developing, expanding, and maintaining powerful, reliable, and reusable C++ code. You will implement an optimized and high-quality code, identify bottlenecks and bugs, and find solutions to these problems. You will also review code developed by other team members and write functional test cases to the regression framework.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education & Experience: A technical degree or a comparable education and 7+ years of experience in development; we also welcome career changers.
  • Programming Language & Frameworks: C, C++.
  • Library: Boost.
  • Databases: MySQL, MariaDB, or Oracle.
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, or Linux.
  • Techniques & Methods: Socket programming, multithreading including race conditions, deadlocks.
  • Structures: Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of STL and an understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of banking and/or financial systems as well as digital banking, digital wallet, real-time payments and an understanding of financial protocols and development experience with ISO 8583, ISO 20022 protocol.
  • Personality: Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills, and a logical and pragmatic attitude.
  • Language Skills: Easy communication in English in our intercultural environment in any situation; German is an advantage.
  • Location: Your workplace is in Martinsried near Munich.
