Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter/Metal Worker/Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken GmbH in Dresden. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the independent assembly of complete machine frames and machine claddings, as well as complex assemblies according to drawing and parts lists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and processing of components made of sheet metal, cast, and steel
  • Carrying out and documentation of functional and quality tests
  • Repairs on customer machines and assemblies

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship as industrial mechanic, fitter, metal worker, or comparable qualification
  • English skills of advantage
  • Experience in the reading of technical drawings and parts lists
  • Welding certification and experience in welding (MAG, WIG) appreciated
  • Ability to work both alone and together in a team
  • High degree of quality consciousness, independence, and reliability
  • Personal initiative as well as solution and customer-oriented, systematic approach
  • Ideally forklift and crane operating permit
  • Willingness to do occasional business trips of advantage
