About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Aignostics GmbH. As a Data Scientist, you will work on interdisciplinary projects to push the state of the art of machine learning for digital pathology.

You will apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to solve complex real-world problems, conduct rigorous experiments, and contribute well-designed features to our codebase.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fun, diverse, and growing team of 100+ data scientists, software developers, biologists, and pathologists to shape the next generation of cancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on interdisciplinary projects connecting machine learning, software engineering, and biomedical domain knowledge
  • Apply and evaluate novel computer vision approaches for extracting insight from high-resolution biological images
  • Transform proof-of-concept machine learning models into automated, tested, and production-ready systems
  • Clearly communicate your results
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Bioinformatics
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and excel in a complex space
  • Solid theoretical foundations and 1-2 years of experience developing novel machine learning techniques
  • Advanced skills in Python, Linux, cloud computing, and machine learning software stacks
  • Experience with development of deep learning models for computer vision
  • Passion for clean code and high standards for quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
