Statutory Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Compliance Specialist to join our team in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate delivery of the global 'Statutory & Compliance process' to our local offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with local offices to ensure accurate data input and timely delivery of the Statutory & Compliance process.
- Review and sign-off output from the outsourced provider, including tax returns, VAT returns, and financial statements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement and change projects.
- Coordinate local audits and ensure timely closure of deliverables.
- Perform local compliance activities not performed by the global outsourced provider.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of professional accounting experience.
- Standard working knowledge of English and preferably one or more local European languages.
- Experience with auditors and working in an S&C environment.
- Knowledge of local compliance requirements for tax, accounting, and reporting.
