Job Title: BESS Technical Sales/Solution Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BESS Technical Sales/Solution Engineer to join our team at Mars Renewable. As a key member of our sales and technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, bidding support, and other work related to our photovoltaic and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales technical support and bidding support for our photovoltaic and energy storage systems.
  • Design and develop technical proposals for our systems, including system description, scope of work, and product specifications.
  • Lead conversations with customers and participate in technical marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with local technical partners and suppliers to complete integrations and provide on-site training and system commissioning services.
  • Collect user requirements, industry trends, and technology evolution to integrate technical solutions.
  • Track project status and progress, and create maintenance procedures for our equipment.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships on the technical interface, influencing key personnel in technical decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, electronic technology, power system, automation, or related science and engineering.
  • More than 3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in pre-sales technical positions or with experience in photovoltaic systems, electric systems, and power electronics.
  • Basic knowledge of photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems, and design capability of product application.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automation, SCADA programming experience.
  • Power systems design experience, including power system analysis, power system protection, and grid analysis.
  • Energy storage working experience.
  • Understanding of variable frequency drives (AC & DC) and their applications.
  • Experience in product development and design, and familiarity with relevant simulation software.
