At eleQtron GmbH, we're pushing the boundaries of quantum computing with our trapped-ion technology. We're seeking a highly skilled Quantum Benchmark Engineer to join our team in Hamburg or Siegen.

We're looking for a talented individual to contribute to our strategy and roadmap for implementing Quantum Characterization, Verification, and Validation (QCVV) within our organization. As a Quantum Benchmark Engineer, you'll be responsible for advancing the technical area of QCVV, executing benchmarking routines and simulations, and collaborating with our international team of physicists, hardware engineers, and software engineers.

• Contribute to our QCVV strategy and roadmap
• Execute benchmarking routines and simulations
• Collaborate with our hardware, software, and quantum software teams
• Work closely with our R&D teams and research institutes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field

• PostDoc or PhD in Theoretical or Experimental Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
• Strong theoretical understanding of standard quantum benchmarking techniques
• 3+ years of experience programming with Python or another high-level language
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
