Frontend Developer Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team at actcon GmbH. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the front-end of our digital solutions. Your tasks will include working closely with our back-end team and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical implementations. You will also be responsible for technical design, including customer-facing architecture and defining API contracts. Additionally, you will participate in all phases of product governance and the development lifecycle, including writing epics and user stories, and support sprint planning in our agile development setup.

Requirements:
  • University degree in computer science or natural sciences, engineering, mathematics or a related field and several years of professional experience
  • Experience in software development and sound knowledge of front-end development for data-driven, customer-oriented IT solutions, ideally on a global enterprise level
  • Excellent knowledge of Javascript and its latest standards, experience in TypeScript, React, Redux (legacy) and ideally Apollo, as well as in AWS-based cloud environments are an advantage
  • Ability to write high-quality code, good understanding of usability patterns and experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
  • Fluent English, German or a second foreign language is an advantage
  • Innovativeness and excellent communication and analytical skills to build good working relationships within the organization and in a diverse and global team
