Mechanical Construction Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Construction Specialist to join our team in Schkopau, Germany.

This is a temp-to-perm position, with the potential for long-term career advancement within an industry leader at the forefront of technological innovation and sustainability.

• Oversee and manage all mechanical construction activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, focusing on mechanical aspects to align with overall project goals.
• Ensure that all mechanical construction complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as industry-specific quality standards.
• Monitor costs and project progress, ensuring that milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Manage and coordinate the work of mechanical subcontractors and trades, ensuring seamless integration with other project disciplines.
• Assist in the planning and preparation phases of the project, including resource allocation and site readiness for mechanical construction activities.
• Oversee the completion and verification of all mechanical-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Act as the mechanical supervisor, ensuring all activities comply with local building regulations (LBO) and other applicable standards.

• Degree or technician certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in mechanical construction, particularly within the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries.
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level) and English.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and relevant mechanical construction software; SCC certification is required.
