About the Role

We are opening a position in our Project Management Support team for our client EUMETSAT, a leading international organization dedicated to monitoring weather, climate, and environmental conditions from space.

As a Project Management Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of complex engineering projects, working as part of a Project Management Office (PMO) composed of specialists in different disciplines related to Project, Program, and Portfolio Management (PPM).

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project and Program Managers in implementing management practices ensuring compliance with internal Project Management standards and processes.
  • Support the preparation and execution of project formal reviews along the project lifecycle.
  • Generate progress reports, minutes of meetings, actions follow-up, etc.
  • Participate in change management initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Computer Sciences, Scientific, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in software or engineering projects, in a project management position; or 3 years of working experience in complex software or engineering projects, in any technical or support position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one of the following subjects:
    • Project or technical management support (preferably in engineering environments), with familiarity with standards, development methodologies, and complex system building.
    • Project/Program management support as part of a project management office (PMO), contributing to the definition or implementation of standard project management practices (i.e., risk management, action control, reporting, scheduling & planning).
    • System Engineering (preferably in Space Sector).
    • Quality management for complex engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in project planning/scheduling, monitoring, and control for complex/large system programmes (or multi-project environment) with MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Good command of English (professional competence).
