Content Designer

As a Content Designer at GetYourGuide, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, user-centered content for our traveler-facing products. This includes developing UX copy, information hierarchy, and interaction flows for web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a user-centered point of view on product areas and advocate for user needs in a collaborative way.
- Write and iterate on UX copy, information hierarchy, and interaction flows for web and mobile platforms.
- Contribute to UX research and testing, working with engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Apply actionable user insights from data and qualitative research to inform writing and UX decisions.
- Apply, maintain, and contribute to tone-of-voice and writing guidelines to drive consistency in products and user experience.
- Contribute to product reviews with constructive feedback supporting peers' decision-making and quality of work.
- Communicate frequently and clearly with stakeholders to facilitate alignment, create shared understanding, and explain UX writing rationale.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with end-to-end UX writing in a start-up, SMB, large company with digital offering, or design consulting agency.
- Problem-solving mindset, focusing on outcomes and not output, and applying user feedback or multivariate testing tools to validate UX copy.
- Familiarity with UX writing for multiple platforms, including mobile and desktop.
- Ability to present UX writing solutions, articulate decision rationale, and contribute to content strategy for a product.
- Demonstrable ability to be proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
- Experience working closely with cross-disciplinary product teams, including Product Managers and Engineers.
- Demonstrable understanding of how UX writing impacts business objectives and KPIs.
- Portfolio of case studies showcasing relevant work that illustrates process and approach to UX writing.
