Senior Account Executive

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join our team at CEEZER Software GmbH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing a long-term client base.

Your primary focus will be on generating new business and delivering a value-based selling experience to customers. You will work closely with our experienced founding team and SVP Growth to achieve this goal.

Your Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and beyond
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and timely deal closures
  • Deliver a value-based selling experience to customers
  • Engage with prospective customers to understand their sustainability strategy and carbon credit needs
  • Maintain and manage the customer pipeline in our CRM platform
  • Work closely with our Solutions team to develop high-quality carbon portfolios to support client goals
  • Partner with Marketing to leverage campaigns that drive engagement and leads
  • Attend conferences and travel as needed to meet with prospective and current clients, participate in networking opportunities to build brand awareness, and generate leads
Requirements
  • Extensive Enterprise Sales experience with complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Fluency in English, and additional languages are a plus
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and acquiring enterprise clients
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and methodologies, including account planning and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a compelling manner to C-level executives and lawyers
  • Experience in a startup or similar fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Experience in sustainability, or the Voluntary Carbon Market is a plus
