Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Architect to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our customers by designing and implementing innovative solutions in the Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines, data platforms, and data warehouses on GCP.
  • Act as a trusted GCP technical consultant and trainer for our clients' tech teams.
  • Collaborate with clients' engineering teams to implement new practices and technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, focusing on conflict resolution and project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, including presales activities and proof-of-concept delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of hands-on coding experience in Java, Python, and SQL.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (and/or Professional Google Cloud certifications).
  • Strong expertise in BigQuery, Kubernetes, Airflow (Cloud Composer), and dbt Core.
  • Experience in the telecommunication industry, banking, or financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German.
