About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Data Engineering to lead our Data Engineering team in delivering high-end software solutions for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on the implementation of digital transformation projects, leading experienced project teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of data pipelines for streaming and batch integrations using cloud-native services such as Airflow, Spark, and Glue.
  • Design and implement data models, warehouses, and fact/dimension implementations using tools such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and the implementation of data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain code repositories and ensure continuous integration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with leading data engineering teams and delivering high-end software solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise in data engineering, cloud computing, and data platforms.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent German language skills.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and fact/dimension implementations.
  • Experience with code repositories and continuous integration.
  • Experience with data platforms, including the implementation of end-to-end data pipelines.
