Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist
We are seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our aircraft and equipment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define and justify requirements and action plans.
- Generate and update Environmental Conditions Specifications and Certification Plans.
- Participate in EMI and HIRF System and Aircraft level tests.
- Conduct design/qualification documentation reviews and test witnessing.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential electromagnetic compatibility-related risks.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in aeronautical science or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an electromagnetic environment compliance expert.
- Good knowledge of RTCA DO-160 test methods and EASA regulations for EMC certification.
- Ability to travel and excellent command of English language.
