About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented UX/UI Design Working Student to join our Strategic Platform Innovations Team at SAP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating the user experience for our cutting-edge composable process platform prototype.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design intuitive user experiences that meet the needs of our customers.
- Develop and implement design concepts, prototypes, and visualizations to communicate technical ideas effectively.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Work closely with senior designers to explore various design concepts and share ideas within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support the team by creating compelling and simple visualizations for technical presentations.
Requirements
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the design process and related methodologies: Design Thinking, User Research, Usability Testing, and Prototyping in all kinds of fidelities.
- Passion for translating complex problems into user-friendly solutions by following UX/UI Design principles.
- Proficient in at least one design tool, such as Figma.
- A great eye for detail, especially when it comes to UI and Visual Design.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably German: Motivated to articulate and communicate ideas and design decisions well to interdisciplinary project teams.
- Soft skills: Reliable, positive, open-minded personality with strong team working skills, who is committed to managing deadlines independently and precisely.
- Familiarity with agile software development is a plus.
