We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our innovative team at Lilium, shaping the future of urban e-mobility. As a key member of our Cabin and Lighting team, you will contribute to the design, certification, and delivery of the Lilium Jet's Lights, Cabin, and Avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and specify system, interfaces, and component requirements in accordance with ARP4754.
- Validate requirements and define system architecture.
- Define interfaces, wiring, and supplier requirements.
- Support mechanical installation and update system plans, V&V plans, and test plans.
- Conduct DO160 qualification activities with suppliers and participate in supplier management.
- Perform configuration management activities and support safety activities.
- Collaborate with Human Factors, Pilots, CVEs, Safety, and Avionics System Engineers to define required solutions.
- MSc./Eng. in Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years' experience in the aerospace sector, preferably in civil aeronautical applications.
- 3 years' experience in Lights system development, preferably in civil aeronautical applications.
- Excellent knowledge of ARP-4754A/ED-79A.
- Experience in requirement management and environmental qualification based on DO160.
- Experience in Cabin system development is beneficial.
- Fluent English language skills are essential, and fluent German or any other language would be beneficial.
