Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing supply chain data to optimize inventory levels and improve overall logistics efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • 7 years of recent specialized experience in logistics
  • 3+ years of leadership experience required
  • Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent
  • Must complete internal APS-2 GCSS-A training within 60 days of hire
  • At least two years of GCSS-A experience, preferred
  • Must have the ability to provide skilled analysis of data prepared and presented
  • APS knowledge and experience, preferred
  • Possess strong knowledge of MRO's, Hand Receipts, IARs and other Army Supply documentation
  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills
  • Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications
  • Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements
  • Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
  • Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact well with the customer and with employees at all levels
  • The appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent
Work Environment

Amentum is a typical office environment with no unusual hazards, mainly sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO.
