About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Cell Factory Software. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge connectivity solutions for our instrument portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance on connectivity software development and serve as a liaison between our software architect and developers.
  • Coach team members on technical questions and help them find solutions for connecting and synchronizing internal and external software systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and explore their potential applications in our connectivity devices.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, protocols, and data formats to ensure compatibility between different software systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, Quality, Service, and Marketing, to broaden your professional horizon.

Requirements

  • Academic education in Computer Science, Natural Science, or a related field.
  • At least three years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent understanding of service-oriented software development and experience in developing software for connectivity, integration, or synchronization.
  • Exceptional knowledge of modern C++ and a willingness to continue developing in this language.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with fluent English and German a plus.
