Job Summary

CSL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to join our Quality Control team in Marburg. As a Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of laboratory professionals and overseeing the planning and execution of laboratory-specific projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of laboratory professionals, ensuring effective team management and planning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to quality control and laboratory operations.
  • Plan and execute laboratory-specific projects, including the development and implementation of new analytical methods and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of laboratory operations with other business functions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry partners.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff, including training and development programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results and data.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as biology or chemistry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory management role, with a strong background in quality control and laboratory operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of laboratory professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software applications.
