Director of Logistics Location : Remote (Germany, Switzerland, or UK)

We are currently working with a fast-growing FMCG company that is undergoing a major transformation and is looking for a talented Director of Logistics to drive the future of their supply chain.

This exciting opportunity is remote, with flexibility for candidates based in Germany, Switzerland, or the UK.

As they scale up and restructure their logistics operations, they are searching for a strategic leader to optimize processes, lead a high-performing team, and implement cutting-edge technologies to support the company's ambitious growth.

As the Director of Logistics, you will take ownership of the company's entire logistics operation, from warehousing to transportation and distribution across multiple regions.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing logistics strategies that drive operational efficiency and support the company's long-term growth, leading the logistics transformation, and ensuring the business is fully equipped to manage increasing complexity as it scales.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, leading a dynamic team across Europe.
• Design and implement logistics strategies that drive operational efficiency and support the company's long-term growth.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Be the driving force behind the logistics transformation, managing change and modernizing logistics functions.
• Ensure the logistics operations remain within budget, finding areas for cost savings without sacrificing service quality.
• Spearhead the integration of logistics technologies and automation to boost productivity.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the supply chain.
• Anticipate and mitigate any potential risks or disruptions in the logistics process.

Requirements :

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have significant experience in senior logistics roles within the FMCG sector, preferably with exposure to multi-regional logistics across Europe.

Extensive experience as a Director of Logistics or senior-level logistics leader within the FMCG sector.
Strong knowledge of European logistics landscapes, particularly in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.
A track record of managing logistics transformations, driving operational excellence and managing large teams.
Expertise with logistics technology solutions, including ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.

Fluency in English is essential; additional languages (German, etc.) Remote flexibility – Work from Germany, Switzerland, or the UK.
