About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at TRUMPF. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning and executing our supply chain strategy, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize material availability and reduce costs
• Manage and develop relationships with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions
• Provide support to the procurement team during times of high demand or supply chain disruptions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
• Fluency in German and English
