Construction Project Director

Covestro seeks a skilled Construction Project Director to lead and execute all construction and installation activities for national and international investment projects. This role will be instrumental in expanding Covestro's production capacities and developing innovative materials for pioneering applications.



  • You will lead the construction and installation team, manage external contractors, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • You will create construction and installation-relevant documents, manage costs, schedules, and progress, and prepare reports.
  • You will plan the construction site setup and logistics, evaluate the required construction team, and support the project manager in all project phases.

Requirements:



  • A university degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
  • Several years of national and international project experience in Construction Management with various contract models.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, customer orientation, and ability to handle ambiguities and conflicts.
  • A sense of responsibility, initiative, and motivation to overcome potential obstacles.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • A willingness to travel within Covestro's NRW sites.
