Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer to join our team at RS Integrated Supply Ltd. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing suppliers of ad-hoc products, negotiating cost reductions, and expediting outstanding orders with vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of customer service, good organisational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience with SAP is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source suppliers of ad-hoc products and negotiate cost reductions
  • Expedite outstanding orders with vendors to ensure delivery dates align with goods requirements
  • Liaise with customers to confirm delivery of goods ordered and record communications in SAP
  • Interrogate procurement systems to identify customer names and contact details
  • Edit stock lines in the system, including description, supplier, and inventory level changes
  • Identify poor service levels from vendors and report to the Purchasing Manager
  • Provide progressing support to customers and key vendors via telephone and email
Requirements
  • Native or fluent German language skills, written and verbal
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Good organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with SAP
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and customers
