Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at BASF Services Europe GmbH. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the Belgian payroll and post-payroll regarding social security, taxes, time management, and compensation & benefits.
Responsibilities- Prepare and process the monthly payroll and implement, improve, and maintain administrative HR processes in SAP HR and other HR systems.
- Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements concerning our HR services are met.
- Collaborate closely with our local HR Business Partners in Belgium as well as our internal service departments in Berlin and our technical providers.
- Contribute to our quality and knowledge management by documenting all processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high-quality standards.
- Participate in internal projects and encourage best practice sharing amongst our EMEA Region HR teams.
- University studies completed.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
- Experience in Payroll processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and other IT systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial personality.
