Job Description

Financial Project Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Controller to join our team at EQUANS in Germany. As a Financial Project Controller, you will be responsible for the efficient and reliable financial management of our projects within our German branch, ensuring compliance with internal and legal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Financial Control:
    • Monthly project closure and financial reporting
    • Cost budget control and monitoring
    • Estimation of remaining costs in collaboration with operational managers
    • Monitoring of project progress and client invoicing
    • Monitoring of project and branch cash flow
  • Daily Accounting Relationship:
    • Invoice management and salary monitoring
    • VAT declaration and branch corporate tax
    • Inventory entries and management
  • Activity Portfolio and News/Plan:
    • Preparation and presentation of activity portfolios
    • Presentation of financial progress points
  • Management of an Administrative Apprentice:
    • Management of SAP commitment and purchase orders
    • Verification of compliance and financial health of suppliers
    • Updating comparative tables of purchase offers
    • Ensuring local implementation of group procedures
  • Financial and Contractual Monitoring:
    • Monitoring of project guarantees and treasury in connection with cash flow
    • Cash flow monitoring: client invoicing, payment requests, client payment monitoring, and supplier/subcontractor payment
    • Contractual: monitoring of client and subcontractor contracts
    • Implementation and monitoring of insurance policies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent
  • Fluent English and French, knowledge of German would be a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
