About this role

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for planning the architecture of our future mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan the architecture of our future mobile applications
  • Develop on the technical foundation of our existing and future mobile apps and web apps
  • Collaborate with developers from other brands within BurdaVerlag to develop concepts for new features
  • Implement new features together with an agile development team
  • Share knowledge and experience with colleagues or other developers

Requirements

  • Previous studies in computer science or a related field, or corresponding professional experience
  • Experience in developing cross-platform (iOS and Android) mobile applications, ideally in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of ReactNative and ReactJS
  • Experience with GitLab is required
  • Experience with Swift, Kotlin, or Java, Node.js, NextJS, or the Ionic Framework is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in agile teams
