Welding and NDT Expert at Intertek

We are seeking a skilled Welding and NDT Inspector to join our team in Switzerland. As a Freelancer, Project Assistant, you will be responsible for ad hoc inspections at local manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review assignment instructions for adequacy and practicality

• Liaise with clients to determine inspection stages and requirements

• Inspect drawings, designs, and specifications for mechanical equipment

• Perform or witness inspections at manufacturers, suppliers, and installers

• Provide reports of inspections performed or witnessed

• Ensure all inspection activities are performed in accordance with work instructions and procedures

• Adapt and use new implemented technologies within the Intertek group

Requirements:

• Valid Welding and NDT certificates (RT film interpretation, UT, MT, VT, PT, all level II)

• Knowledge of Codes: CSWIP, NDT Level 2 according to ISO

• Fluency in German and English (oral and writing)
